An exclusive and imposing cylindrical vase made of Murano artistic glass, a superb example of mid-20th-century Venetian craftsmanship (circa 1950). This extraordinary work of art stands out for its complex structure composed of three superimposed layers of glass, combined with a spectacular geometric-organic design created entirely using the hot-working technique (a caldo).The slender body showcases a bold chromatic contrast: the lower section is crafted from precious white opaline glass with a lattimo effect, while the upper part features a dense, deep, glossy black glass. The pinnacle of craftsmanship lies in the intricate central band, where majestic applied black glass filaments create a raised texture that wraps around the perimeter, evoking a dense organic network with a powerful sculptural impact.A product of the refined avant-garde design of the mid-twentieth century, with stylistic references to the celebrated experiments of Alfredo Barbini, this vase is a monumental design piece.
