Bohemia, now known as the Czech Republic, is renowned for its ornate decorative glass, which has been produced in the region since the 13th century. It consistently rivaled Venetian glass, due to its strength and brilliant color. This pair is adorned with two female lithograph printed portraits of european beauties wearing dresses in styles which were popular at the time. Fine detailed gold painted ornament.
