About the Item

This petite Chinese cloisonné-style metal vase is a charming display piece with a classic bud-vase silhouette, gently flared neck, and warm brass-toned rim and base. The body features a creamy white enamel ground decorated with a bold red floral cluster (blossom/tree motif) accented by small green details, surrounded by repeating cloud-like linework typical of traditional Asian-inspired patterns. The interior is finished in a rich cobalt-to-navy blue enamel, adding contrast and a polished look from above. Its small scale makes it ideal for a single stem, a miniature arrangement, or simply as an accent object in a curio cabinet, bookshelf vignette, or Asian décor grouping. Cloisonné pieces like this were made by applying colored enamel within outlined compartments on metal, creating a glossy, durable surface with intricate detail.
