About the Item

Rustic mid-century Danish vase by Fridtjof Sejersen for Sejer Studio Ceramic. It´s made in the 1960's at his own studio workshop in Nr. Aaby on the Danish island Funen. Fridtjof Sejersen ran the ceramic work-shop from 1941 to 1978. The slightly square vase is made of chamotte clay and has an embossed decor which gives a rustic and vivid expression. The satin glaze varies from grey to blueish grey. Hand marked on bottom: Sejer Unic Danmark Very good vintage condition without chips, cracks or repair. The artistic vase fits various interiors, both the light Scandinavian and the more rustic Brutalist style.
