German silver goblet by Theodor Julius Gunther, 1886-1906 The silver goblet was made by silversmith Theodor Julius Gunther- Robert Freund from Berlin. Theodor Gunther founded his company around 1808, but the German state silver mark was not introduced until 1886, so the goblet must date from after 1886. The company was succeeded by Robert Freund.
