About the Item

Very large, Art Nouveau, sterling silver-mounted polished antler, J.F. Fradley and Company, New York, Ca. 1900. J.F. Fradley and Company was in business from 1873-1936 when the last record of the company was found. (See Encyclopedia of American Silversmiths by Rainwater, Page 61). The corkscrew measures 8 inches long at its longest point x 6 inches high (at highest point) x 1 1/2 inches diameter across sterling silver mount (widest point). The screw mechanism is made of metal. Dark areas on sterling silver in photos are reflections. In very good antique condition.
