About the Item

A sterling silver decorative small bowl, design #238a by Georg Jensen from circa 1917. Handcrafted with intricate details, the basket is raised on limb-like branches, with a large floral bulb or berry at its center.  The handle is a handcrafted with hand chased floral bulb and berry design. The elaborate detailing in the middle section adds an exquisite touch, making it a lovely piece for holding candies or chocolates. - Dimensions: 4 1/2" inches (11 cm) in height x 3 3/4" (9,5cm). - Weight: 136 grams (4,79 oz). - Hallmarks: Vintage Georg Jensen hallmarks from 1945-1977, marked 'Denmark 238a Sterling. All our items have been professionally polished by our Georg Jensen trained silversmith and are in excellent condition.
