18th Century Dutch delftware cabinet or collectors plate. Marked The gilt Flower Pot factory Hand crafted tin glazed earthenware pottery Fully handpainted in blue and white floral decor In the center a vase with flowers surrounded by 6 medaillons Origin The Nederlands 18th century Style and periode Louis XVI Condition good with both chips on the rim and a baking flaw (see pics) The pattern is similar but the plates differ in tone and minor in size. Perfect match! Measures: Diameter porcelain ax factory. 13.6 in - 34.5cm. Height 2 in - 5cm. Diameter Gilded flowerpot factory 13.2in - 33.5cm height 2.1in - 5.4 Delftware or Delft pottery is also known as Delft Blue. Delftware includes pottery objects of all descriptions such figurines, plates, vases and other ornamental forms and tiles. The start of the Delft style was around 1600. the most highly regarded period of production is about 1640–1740. Delftware continues to be produced. Arround 1640 Delft potters began using personal monograms and distinctive factory marks. Throughout the 17th and 18th centuries Delftware was a major industry, exporting all over Europe.

    Wear consistent with age and use. Minor structural damages. Condition good, the plate has chips on the rim and a baking flaw, which i consider as usual with 18th century Delft.
