About the Item

A rarer English Majolica crescent shaped plate from Thomas C. Brown-Westhead, Moore & Co., Cauldron Place, Stoke-upon-Trent, Staffordshire, England, circa 1865. A rustic pattern showing a ground modelled on a wooden fence, a branch of ivy leaves are centred at the bottom. The verso is glazed in a bright opaque turquoise. Excellent.
