About the Item

Primitive antique Saxony glass from ca. 1750-1780. Handblown gray-clear glass. Baluster/conical-shaped stem with discs at the top and one large bubble. Engraved decoration featuring the king's crowned Saxon coat of arms / Saxon coat-of-arms with palm branches. Gold gilt and gold-filled decoration on the engraved pattern. The handblown mark underneath is also gilt / filled with gold. Dimensions ca.: --Diameter (top): 6.7 cm / 2.64 inches --Diameter (bottom): 8.2 cm / 3.23 inches --Height: 16 cm / 6.30 inches There are some small bubbles in the glass and normal age-related wear / gold fading, but otherwise, it is in very good to perfect condition.
