About the Item

Antique Opaque Blue Glass Salt Pepper Pot and six Egg cups by Reich & Co., Circa 1910s A striking antique opaque blue glass set by Reich & Co., dating to the 1910s or possibly earlier. This elegant decorative piece is crafted in a manner closely related to the opaline works of Portieux Vallerysthal, reflecting the refined aesthetic of early 20th-century European glassmaking. The salt pepper pot displays a rich, opulent translucent blue tone that glows beautifully in natural or ambient light. Its sculptural form and luminous finish make it an exceptional table centerpiece or cabinet display object. Condition is very good vintage, with no chips or cracks observed. The glass retains excellent clarity and color saturation. One of the egg cups is slightly misshapen, probably due to a fire during one of the world wars. (please see photo) Part of a small curated collection of opal glass pieces, offered individually. Even more beautiful in person than photographs suggest. ze given in dimensions section refers the salt pepper pot.
