Per Lütken for Holmegaard. Kirsten Piil. 12 schnapps glasses, ca. 1950/60s. Designed by Per Lütken in 1956. Mouth-blown glasses with short stems and small, rounded bowls. Decorated with an engraved pattern of vertical lines with oval elements. Origin: Denmark Material: Glass. Dimensions: H. approx. 9 cm, D. approx. 4 cm. Period: 1950/60s. Condition: Very good condition, with age-related patina and minor signs of use Per Lütken (1916–1998) was one of Denmark’s most important glass artists and worked for Holmegaard Glassworks from 1942 to 1998. He created over 3,000 designs, renowned for their soft lines, organic shapes, and timeless elegance, leaving a lasting mark on Danish glass design.
