About the Item

A fine set of 4 Georgian style candlesticks. Each having integral bobeches supported by knop and lozenge pedastals and floriform feet. Each with diamond strawberry cuts to the bobeches and pedestals. Lovely copies of antiques candlesticks, whose imprecision underscores their hand-made quality. Simply a wonderful hard to find set of 4 hand-blown candlesticks. Date: 20th Century Overall Condition: It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition with no cracks or repairs. Condition Details: There are cuts to the otherwise undecorated sections where the engraver overshot the engraved fields. These overshots are visible to each candlestick. There are small flakes and fritting to several of the bobeches and feet. Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Measurements: Height: ca. 9 1/2 in. Diameter (at the base): ca. 3 7/8 in. Items purchased from this dealer must delight you. Purchases may be returned for any reason for a period of 7 days.
