About the Item

A very stylish Italian Murano glass liqueur set by V Nason & C made in the second half of the 20th century. The hand-blown set is part of the Avventurina range and has a very distinctive style blown in black glass with contrasting red and copper aventurine inclusions within the body of the glass. The set comprises of a decanter with a round ribbed body with a raised narrow neck and fitted with a black glass stopper. It has four matching tumbler shaped glasses. The decanter has an original maker’s paper label attached to the base recording the name of the Avventurina range. The glasses have a height of 5cm and diameter of 4.5cm. Provenance: Acquired from the British Art Market. The set is offered in good original condition and is a wonderful display item.
