A handsome mid-20th-century English carving set by Premier – Lifetime Stainless, Sheffield, England, presented in its original “Preskase” fitted case with satin and velvet interior. The three-piece set includes a carving knife, two-pronged fork, and sharpening steel, each featuring gleaming stainless steel blades and naturally textured antler handles capped with silver-plated collars. The elegant “Preskase” box, patented for its heat-resistant, glue-free pressed construction, features a mottled blue and gray marbled exterior with brass fleur-de-lis clasps and “Made in England” mark inside the lid. The knife is etched “Premier – Lifetime Stainless – Made in England”, underscoring the quality craftsmanship associated with Sheffield cutlery. An exceptional example of traditional English craftsmanship, this antler-handled carving set blends rustic charm with refined presentation — perfect for collectors or for display in a classic country dining setting.
