About the Item

An Italian Emerald‑Green pitcher vase with white dragon relief, Baroque Revival style. circa mid-20th century, Italy. In the manner of maker Capodimonte, circa 1950s, Italy. The sculptural white raised‑relief dragon is set in contrast against a saturated emerald‑green ground, emphasizing the Baroque‑influenced grotesque detailing drawn from Italy’s long tradition of fantastical ornament. The relief work reflects mid‑20th‑century Italian workshop production, with clear Capodimonte influence in the relief and emerald-green palette. Marked “Italy” on the underside. A striking decorative object with strong graphic presence, suitable for display or use as a pitcher or vase, in a cabinet, on a shelf, or tabletop.
