About the Item

A Chamberlains earthenware well and tree platter with overall floral decoration. Stamped on the back Chamberlains. Chamberlains was a very well regarded English porcelain and earthenware manufacturer founded in 1783 producing wares for the Royal family following the 1807 granting of a Royal Warrant. The firm merged with Flight, Barr & Barr in 1840 and in 1862 was renamed Royal Worcester Porcelain Company Ltd. The present platter would make a lovely addition to the holiday table.
