About the Item

Vintage pottery bowl and ice bucket from the series Tenera by Inge-Lise Koefoed for Aluminia of Denmark. In great vintage condition with no cracks or chips. Deep colors of blue and torquise which were very popular during that period. Measurements are bowl 27 x 12cm and ice bucket 11 x 12cm Aluminia was started in 1863 in Copenhagen. In 1969 it merged with Royal Copenhagen. In 1958 Nils Thorsson created the series Tenera. In his team he had Beth Breyen, Kari Christensen, Berte Jessen, Marianne Johanson, Inge-Lise Koefoed og Grete Helland-Hansen.
