This beautifully designed hand wrought Modernist Sterling Silver Sauce Boat with Ebony Handle is made by Allan Adler and originates from the United States circa 1950. Well scaled and elegantly formed in sterling silver, the handle is attached to the body of the piece with an elegant minimal fitting, where it then gradually tapers outwards ending with a flat pommel. This piece is a part of Adler's well known Town & Country pattern. Beautifully designed by one of the most well known and admired silver workers of the 20th Century, this piece will style beautifully with a wide array of decor and design eras, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal design. This piece is in Excellent Vintage Condition. Weight: 270 Grams / 9.4 Ounces American, Circa 1950 Height: 3.25" x Width: 5" x Depth: 10.75"
