About the Item

Wonderful hand woven bread baskets from France: in the 1960s a must have indeed! Victorian style, beautifully worked woven wire, likely silver plated, can of course be more polished – however, the antique patina looks simply beautiful. Usually there would be a white and red chequered serviette placed into them and then the delicious oven fresh French Stick will be cut up and served. The larger basket 13'' approx. in length (see dimensions above). The smaller basket can also be used as a wine cradle. Dimensions small basket: length 9.4'' (24 cm), width 4.7 (12 cm), height 3.5 (9 cm), all approx.
