A beautifully crafted Rainbow teak serving tray from Sweden, executed in the classic Scandinavian modern tradition of organic form and material-driven design. The tray features a wide, gently concave surface with a subtle raised rim, allowing it to function equally well as a serving piece or sculptural tabletop object. #5290 The standout feature is the exceptional teak grain, with bold cathedral figuring and rich tonal variation ranging from honey to deep walnut hues. The surface reads almost like a natural landscape, giving the piece a strong decorative presence even when not in use. The underside retains the original “RAINBOW” maker’s stamp, confirming its Swedish origin. Pieces from this workshop are increasingly appreciated for their quality of timber selection and understated design language, closely aligned with Danish modern aesthetics of the period.
