A fine antique Georgian English sterling silver funnel; an addition to our silver wine and drinks collection. This fine antique George III sterling silver funnel has a plain circular form. The conical body of this antique funnel is plain and embellished with applied thread decorated borders to the upper and lower portions. Condition This impressive antique sterling silver funnel is a very good gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition for its type. Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the body are very clear. This fine antique Victorian sterling silver Chamberstick (chamber candlestick) has a plain circular form in the George I style. The well is plain and unembellished, encompassed with a plain elevated border. The plain cylindrical capital retains the original detachable hallmarked sconce ornamented with a plain applied moulded border. This antique chamberstick is fitted with a stylized Trefid pattern handle, embellished with two contemporary bright cut engraved crests of a squirrel sejant eating a nut to the right of an elephant and castle. This fine antique Victorian sterling silver sugar caster has a baluster shaped form onto a circular stepped spreading domed foot. The lower portion of this sugar caster is embellished with embossed convex batwing decoration in a swirl design. This large, silver caster retains the original hallmarked push fit cover, embellished with impressive pierced scroll, floral and leaf designs below further embossed batwing decoration to the upper portion. An exceptional, fine and impressive, unusual antique Victorian English sterling silver table lighter modelled in the form of a hunting horn; an addition to our Victorian silverware collection. This exceptional antique Victorian silver lighter, in sterling standard, has been realistically modelled in the form of a fox hunting horn. The swept cylindrical body of this novelty silver straight trumpet is embellished with the original gilding to the lower portion representing the copper bell. The bell is ornamented with the contemporary engraved inscription 'P. Saltmarshe, Esq, 1889, from Major General Ravenhill'. The rim of the antique lighter bell is encompassed with bands of tooled decoration. The upper portion of this antique lighter is encircled with further bands of tooled decoration and retains the original screw fit mouthpiece; once removed this allows access to the wick.
