A fine vintage designer silver & wooden tea strainer. By John Hardy. In palm wood and sterling silver. Likely from Hardy's Dot series of jewelry and objet. The strainer with a wooden handle and finial mounted on a hand hammered silver strainer bowl. Fully marked to the base. Simply a wonderful tea strainer from John Hardy! Date: 20th Century Overall Condition: It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition. Condition Details: There is checking (or a split in the wood) to the finial. Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Maker: John Hardy Marks: Apparently unmarked.
