Royal House Antiques Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this lovely Antique 1909 John Grinsell & Sons salt shaker with Sterling Silver top A very good looking well made and decorative piece, the main body is cut glass and the top is all Sterling Silver which is hallmarked as follows Ships Anchor for Birmingham, sideways facing Lion for Sterling Silver, date letter K for 1909, a makers mark of JG&S for John Grinsell & Sons, if you remove the top the inside rim is also all sterling silver and has another perfect set of hallmarks which read the same The condition is very good, the only point to note is the top hole is misshaped from years of use Dimensions Height:- 9.5cm Width:- 3.5cm Depth:- 3.5cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask Any questions please feel free to ask before you bid Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
