About the Item

The body of the coffee pot is embossed and engraved with scroll motifs, typical of the Baroque style, and allegorical masks. A fine hammering (knurling) was applied between the designs to highlight the workmanship. The lid is hinged and dome-shaped. Hemispheres, also embossed, were created on the base, and then repeated in a smaller size on the top and lid. The large spout was carved from the body of the coffee pot and left smooth on the top. The large handle was cast and then engraved with floral motifs and a large allegorical mask on the main part. The comfortable grip for opening the coffee maker with just your thumb and the knob on the lid were also made using the casting technique. The inside of the coffee maker has been gilded with 24kt gold Made in Milan by the renowned silversmith Roberto Ferrari at the end of the 20th century for ARVAL ARGENTI VALENZA collection
