About the Item

This large and elegant champagne bucket is a beautiful example of traditional Biot glassmaking, crafted in the South of France using time-honored artisanal techniques. Made from thick, hand-blown green-tinted glass, it features the iconic trapped air bubbles that have become the unmistakable signature of Biot Verreries. Each bubble is formed naturally during the blowing process, making every piece entirely unique. The bucket has a gently flared cylindrical form and is fitted with two applied glass handles, carefully shaped and seamlessly integrated into the body. The substantial base and generous thickness give it both visual presence and excellent stability, while the translucent green hue catches the light beautifully, enhancing the depth and texture of the glass. Perfectly suited as a champagne or wine cooler, this piece can also be used as an ice bucket, a decorative centerpiece, or a striking vessel for floral arrangements. Its timeless design blends effortlessly with both rustic Mediterranean interiors and contemporary settings. This Biot champagne bucket is not only a functional object but also a decorative statement, celebrating French craftsmanship, authenticity, and the enduring charm of hand-blown glass. An excellent addition to an elegant table setting or a refined bar display.
