About the Item

Late 19th century scale model of a wooden boat circa 1890. Beautiful scale model of what is likely to be a schooner.  Finely hand crafted and detailed with the main body being made to traditional methods like the full size original.  Masts and rigging made to detail as well. Inside the model it has been weighted using metal, so it quite possibly may have been used on water at some point. Some replacement ties, not being naval experts we don't know where some of the rigging should go, there may even be some rigging missing.  Minor staining to woodwork and sail cloth.  Item will be sent with the masts unattached for protection.
