About the Item

This is a very rare Pharmacy sign from the late 1800s. Made of tin/metal with remnants of gold paint. This sculpture was hung in front of a old world pharmacy to advertise and draw attention to the store front. Popular in the 19th century, Main streets would be littered with sculptures like this one. Valued by collectors they are often collected by those in the medical field for the unique connection to health in last century.
