Aqua Fossil Light VII Ceiling Lamp in Alabaster by Amarist Studio One Of a Kind Dimensions: D 50 x W 70 x H 65 cm. Materials: Alabaster and resin. This piece is made to order. All our lamps can be wired according to each country. If sold to the USA it will be wired for the USA for instance. Please contact us. Originally conceived as a unique piece for the Aqua Fossil exhibition at the Pablo Serrano Museum (Spain), this chandelier can now be commissioned following the same proportions and formal balance, while remaining a unique work. Each Aqua Fossil chandelier captures a singular moment of fossilized water. Its fluid, organic strokes evoke the movement of water, while the light emanating from within represents life itself, elevating the piece into a luminous relic, an echo of water preserved in stone. Conceptually, Aqua Fossil reflects on a future in which water exists only in a fossilized state, radically altering the conditions of our planet and prompting reflection on the environmental challenges we face today. Based in the Pyrenees, Amarist Studio works from a context closely connected to stone, territory, and slow natural dynamics. This environment informs the studio’s sensitivity toward equilibrium, transformation, and the passage of time. Amarist’s works—including sculptures, mirrors, lighting pieces, and tables—are conceived as functional objects with a strong sculptural presence. Beyond their formal qualities, they propose a reflection on environmental transformation and on the fragile balance between matter, memory, and time.
