It delivers a soft ambient glow alongside a focused downlight, with thoughtful glare control that makes it just as suited for kitchen islands as it is for dining areas or modern statement spaces. Handmade in Sweden, it balances timeless Nordic minimalism with refined lighting performance. The external dimmer lets you easily adjust the atmosphere, while the organic form (subtly inspired by bamboo forests) adds a natural warmth to both residential and commercial interiors. Recognized as Lighting of the Year 2023 by FORM Magazine, the Lightbone Pendant Small comes in Natural Oak, Black Oak, Blue Oak, as well as custom finishes. It’s a considered piece of modern lighting that integrates effortlessly into homes, restaurants, offices, and hotels. - Founded in 2017 in Gothenburg, Sweden, Oblure is a contemporary lighting brand rooted in Scandinavian design principles of simplicity, minimalism, and functionality. The company was established by designer Markus Johansson, whose 2011 thesis project Cirrata became the brand’s first iconic piece and entrepreneur Erik Möller. Oblure quickly gained international attention after debuting at Maison & Objet in Paris, followed by exhibitions at major design events such as Stockholm Furniture Fair and Milano Design Week. The brand is known for creating bold, artistic lighting fixtures that balance innovation with craftsmanship, often through collaborations with international designers.
