This listing features handcrafted steel with a Dark Bronze finish. This piece is also available in Anthracite semi-matte, White semi-matte, High gloss black, Gold tone, Copper tone, and Oxidized steel, and the series further includes the smaller Emily I, II, and III pendants, the Emily Wall lamp version, and diverse cluster configurations ranging from three to thirteen shades, as price varies depending on shape, finish, number of shades, and typology; please contact us. All our lamps can be wired according to each country. If sold to the USA it will be wired for the USA for instance. Emily is a series of gorgeous lamps with shades handcrafted from sheet steel. Finished in semi-matte, high gloss, brass, or a naturally weathered oxid version, she comes as single pendants (Emily I and II) or chandeliers with up to 13 shades—perfect above a dining area. A vertical option with up to 10 shades suits hallway settings. Each shade is shaped using century-old metalworking techniques once used in the car industry. Cut, bent, formed, welded, and sanded by hand, the process creates organic, sculptural forms. Emily’s design is inspired by Andreas Gursky’s James Bond Islands series, where digitally arranged Thai islands appear to float—revealing only the peaks of hidden mountains. About the brand MOSS Objects is an independent lighting brand that designs luminaires with architectural clarity, sculptural expression and intelligent construction. The brand views light not as a technical afterthought, but as a material that shapes spatial perception. Each design is reduced to essential form, refined, resolved, and built with longevity in mind. MOSS Objects works through a modular design philosophy. Every product is constructed as part of a wider system, allowing forms to adapt and scale while maintaining coherence. Gradual curves recall the erosion of stone, suspended forms echo orbital motion, and diffused finishes reference geological layering. These influences are embedded in proportion and geometry rather than surface effect, giving the objects a calm spatial presence. Materials carry equal weight in the brand’s identity: aluminium for its strength-to-weight ratio, brass for its evolving patina, oak for tactile warmth. Each luminaire is built through partnerships with expert manufacturers and specialist workshops, ensuring both precision and continuity.
