About the Item

An impressive and high quality French 19th century Louis XV st. Ormolu chandelier. The twenty arm chandelier is centered by a beautiful bottom acorn finial below wonderful foliate movements and the reeded central reserve. The arms are grouped into five clusters of four arms each displaying striking scrolled movements adorned with large richly chased acanthus leaves, foliate bobeches, and charming floral candle cups. The central fut displays additional beautiful foliate designs and large most decorative leaves amidst spiral fluted patterns all in a superb satin and burnished finish. *Available with complementary matching chandelier, item# 7168, sold separately. Shades, Canopies and Chain shown for display purposes, sold separately.
