About the Item

A wonderful and high quality French late 19th century Renaissance st. Wrought Iron and Stained Glass chandelier. This exceptionally detailed hexagon shaped six arm chandelier is centered by ball finial accenting the cage which holds the six original stained Glass panels above. Charming twisted Iron trims accent the Wrought Iron cage and lead to vertical outer panels with a clover shaped iron bevel and interior Stained Glass panes. On the outside of the vertical panels are six electrified arms with scrolls, grape clusters, and spear shapes below the circular candle cups and saucers. The chandelier is held by 'V' shaped twisted Iron supports which lead to the central Iron fut. The central fut displays a pierced mid section with scrolled designs and fitted circular stained Glass panes. The mid section is held by additional twisted Iron sections with rings which lead to the top crown decorated in the same manner as the mid section.
