About the Item

SIMPLE SHADE collection is the essence of a shade. One simple design with transformative properties in singular and multiple forms. Using Japanese philosophy to mindfully design space and object as one. This is the only collection which completely collapses to a flat state. A clean look with an essential function. A versatile direct overhead light. In its larger size, SIMPLE SHADE makes an elegant centre piece for social spaces. SS01, SS02 and SS03 are perfect suspended low for lighting intimate spaces. Our pendants and lighting designs are made using 100% Egyptian mercerised cotton cord. The yarn is first spun and dyed in Italy before being knitted into our signature tensioned cord yarn in Lancashire England. Once spun onto cones we hand crochet the yarn into beautiful, unique and timeless designs. Each pendant is supplied with UL certified cord, E12/E14 bulb socket and ceiling canopy. All pendant frames are lacquered brass plated as standard. See image references above for our yarn, pattern, cord and metal finish options.
