Italian Murano glass multi-light suspended chandelier crafted during the nineteen eighties showcases streamlined Venetian neoclassical lighting design. Handcrafted in Italy, this sculptural luminaire is built around an elegant trumpet-form central stem that flares gently upward toward an adjustable brass suspension chain and an optic-ribbed ceiling canopy. Radiating outward from the flared bell-shaped lower basin (coppa) is a ring of arching gooseneck candle arms, each cradling an expansive, upward-facing disc bobeche and grounded at the base by a drop finial that completes the balanced, low-profile silhouette. Venetian master glassmakers mouth-blew and hot-tooled each modular component using traditional furnace techniques, creating a rich chromatic contrast between deep emerald green (verde smeraldo) and crystalline elements infused with genuine twenty-four-karat gold leaf flakes (foglia d'oro).
