Stunning and large 19.8 inches in diameter Neoclassical Alabaster 3-light chandelier hand-carved masterpiece, ca. 1920 Thanks to its impressive size and timeless neoclassical form, this extraordinary alabaster chandelier is without doubt one of the most beautiful pieces we’ve ever sourced and offered. Carved from a single block of fine white alabaster with dramatic black veining and translucent marbling, this pendant transforms into a glowing moon-like presence when lit — casting both light and atmosphere. Its hand-carved details include deep fluted shaping, scalloped petal-like contours, and a finely etched Greek key frieze along the rim. The alabaster is beautifully balanced by dark brass chains and a large, elegant alabaster canopy that completes the silhouette with distinction. This fixture doesn’t just illuminate a space — it elevates it. Whether hung in a classical foyer, above a staircase, or in a curated contemporary setting, it brings refined gravitas and warmth. This light will also take LED bulbs. Thanks to the metal hook inside the height adjustable & mint alabaster canopy, safely mounting this perfect pendant tight to your ceiling (and over your junction box) will take no more than a few minutes either and thanks to the chains we (or you) can also change the height to one that is perfect for you.
