All our lamps can be wired according to each country. If sold to the USA it will be wired for the USA for instance. The Library Collection draws on archetypal forms and conical silhouettes to create intimate, downward-focused light. Inspired by reading rooms and private interiors, the pieces emphasize vertical lines and controlled illumination. Light is directed with precision, producing contained pools of warmth that enhance atmosphere without excess brightness. Wood, brass and patinated finishes introduce material depth and tactile contrast. Crafted in the atelier, each element is carefully assembled and finished by hand. Natural variations in wood grain and patina reinforce the authenticity of the collection. Whether ceiling-mounted, freestanding or placed on a table, the pieces cultivate a sense of quiet concentration and architectural restraint. About Marine Breynaert was born in 1982 in Paris. She received her formal training at the prestigious École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. In 2010, she established the Atelier Marine Breynaert, with a primary focus on crafting high-end lighting fixtures. Her creative journey weaves a visual tapestry of minimalist lines, a keen appreciation for textures, and a mastery of material effects. Over the years, she has honed her expertise with unyielding dedication. Every creation is a testament to precision and is the result of close collaboration with French artisans. Marine's work is characterized by the intricate patinas, contrasting lacquers, and lampshades that are designed to sculpt and play with light. Her commitment to excellence and exacting craftsmanship has allowed her to unite diverse design legacies. Her lighting fixtures stand as visual enigmas, seamlessly blending elements of industrial design with the poetry of contemporary art. The creation of each object begins with research: upcycling on one hand, since the recovery of unused industrial parts was at the basis of her first creations; but also, the technical and almost scientific research required by the juxtaposition of certain elements.
