About the Item

A small Finnish mid-century ceiling lamp model ES 122 by Itsu, one of the leading lighting manufacturers in Finland. The lamp is in its original condition with original opaline glass and brass shade. A minimalist bijou pendant that suits smaller rooms, entrances, reading corners or over counters. The height can be easily adjusted as it is hanging by the electric wiring that can be shortened or changed into a longer one. The lamp is stamped by the manufacturer Itsu. Itsu was one of the leading light manufacturing companies in Finland and a daughter company of Idman. Along with companies like Taito Oy, Idman and Orno they defined what Finnish design lamps would become. It made high quality lamps and produced lamps for major projects, including some of Alvar Aalto's projects like the Aalto University.
