About the Item

Philips ceiling pendant combines bold graphic design with functional Mid-Century modernist form. The round black enameled metal shade creates dramatic contrast above the spherical milk glass diffuser, which features striking red and black printed linear patterns that wrap around the globe. The graphic decoration transforms the utilitarian pendant into a sculptural statement piece that exemplifies Dutch design sensibilities from the period.
