Sirenetta Modern Fabric Collectible Sculptural Pendant Light from Studio Mirei represented by Costantini Design Dimensions are 8" Dia x 26" H as shown. Sirenetta, inspired by a sea siren. When the sun hits the horizon, imagine it gracefully swimming to the water surface to catch a glimpse of her lover. This suspension lamp is made from banaca (banana-abaca) textile, sculpted to evoke undulating shapes that remind us of the mythical little mermaid. Production Lead Time: 8 weeks. Costantini is thrilled to announce US representation of Italian-based STUDIO MIREI. Mirei is a Milan-based multidisciplinary designer who started her career in her birth place, the Philippines. Working from her roots has exposed her to the world of traditional manufacturing and production of furniture, where everything is made by hand. This environment exposed her to the beautiful world of artisan crafts, but then gave her the yearning to explore state-of-the-art techniques that come from the western world. Graduating from Politecnico di Milano in 2017 with a degree in Design and Engineering has given her more experience in the technical point of view. Her work spans product design, interior design, creative consultancy and art direction. About Costantini Design Costantini has been a trusted source for custom furniture, objects and lighting for a global client base since 2002. Its founder and owner, William Stuart, is a designer and artist who began his career as a multimedia artist and sculptor, practices which continue to inform the work. With a studio showroom in New York and a team of artisans at their own workshop in Buenos Aires, the Costantini team is able to connect artisans and artists with acclaimed clientele around the world. Its artisans work across many varied materials such as bronze, solid wood, fiberglass, steel, plaster, goatskin, leather, rush, iron, marble, sheepskin and more. Their work has been featured in publications such as Architectural Digest, Galerie Magazine, the Wall Street Journal, Interior Design Magazine, Luxe, and more.
