About the Item

This stunning modernist chandelier was realized by our atelier in Murano, Italy- the island off the coast of Venice renowned for centuries for its superlative glass production- exclusively for us. It features a pagoda form composed of an abundance of Vistosi style discs with translucent perimeters and opaque centers in hand blown Murano glass in a smoked olive green tourmaline hue suspended from a polished chrome frame. The fixture attaches to the ceiling via a chain and domed canopy of the same material. With its beautiful glass quality, clean modernist lines and impeccable artisanal construction, this chandelier is as aesthetically compelling as it is versatile, blending perfectly with any style of interior from Classic Mid-Century Modern to contemporary. It has been newly rewired to American standards. The height can be adjusted to suit. The chandelier accommodates eight candelabra based bulbs providing up to 540 watts of light. Excellent condition. Italy, 21st century Dimensions: 23.5" diameter x 31" height.
