Monumental Oval Brutalist Sculptural Chandelier in Oxidized Steel, Copper and Glass This exceptional monumental chandelier exists at the intersection of lighting and sculpture. Conceived as a large oval composition, it is constructed from an intricate network of freely formed steel and copper elements that create a dynamic, almost floating presence within a space. From every angle, the piece reveals a new silhouette, making it as captivating unlit as it is illuminated. The sculptural framework consists of an expressive arrangement of oxidized steel combined with copper elements through which the electrical wiring is subtly integrated. The deep reddish-brown oxidized surface gives the chandelier a powerful architectural character while creating a rich texture that constantly changes with shifting light and shadow. Suspended throughout the structure are substantial aqua-toned glass elements that capture, diffuse, and reflect light. Their organic presence forms a striking contrast with the raw character of the oxidized metal, introducing transparency and color to the composition. When illuminated, the ten light points create a fascinating interplay of reflections, depth, and atmosphere. More than a lighting fixture, this piece functions as a suspended sculpture.
