Magnificent vintage Moroccan or Moorish style embossed & pierced hand-crafted copper & brass pendant light fixture with multicolored glass & plastic jewels, decorative brass chain, and brass canopy, stamped Made in India. It is hardwired and has a single bulb. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, the interior shade has some bends, unseen from the outer light. There is some natural patina on the brass and all but 4 original glass amethyst jewels have been replaced with new plastic ruby, emerald, and topaz jewels. This Pendant Light Fixture is a REAL JEWEL!!! This is a phenomenal vintage Moroccan or Moorish style embossed & pierced hand-crafted copper & brass pendant light fixture with multicolored glass & plastic jewels, a decorative brass chain, and a beautiful brass canopy. It bears a “Made in India” stamp, and the copper is enhanced with some natural green patina which we purposefully left alone as we feel it amplifies its marvelous vintage beauty!! The cylindrical shape of the fixture is composed of a pierced copper center and the top and bottom feature a hand-cut design that resembles a beautiful brass crown of royalty adorned with multicolored jewels… 4 original glass amethyst gems and the others are new plastic ruby, emerald, and topaz colored gems. This pendant light is a ROYAL BEAUTY for sure!! The cord is covered by a fantastic brass chain comparable to an elegant necklace composed of large tulip shaped beads divided by smaller round beads… It is absolutely glamorous!!! It screams Moroccan or Moorish style MAGNIFICENCE and will be incredible hanging in an entry or hallway, in a sitting room over a wonderful chaise lounge, or in your kitchen or dining area above your table. Magnificent vintage Art Deco Revival monumental hanging light fixture or chandelier comprised of six glass “wing” panels with etched details, brass ferrule, shaft, brackets, and a new brass canopy. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, there is a small chip on the top edge of one glass “wing” panel that you cannot see from below. This is a marvelous Art Deco Revival monumental hanging light fixture comprised of a unique brass shaft consisting of a cylindrical top and base with three square brass rods between. Each cylindrical end of the shaft has an inner socket that holds a slender tube style bulb which is encased by the square brass rods. Each outer end of the shaft has a round component with six brass brackets surrounding the outer cylinder which hold the “wing” shaped glass panels featuring lovely etched designs. Could be angel wings, butterfly wings, or even fairy wings… that’s up to your imagination!! Either way… It is INCREDIBLE!!! A beautiful brass rod extends up from the “trumpet” shaped ferrule and is attached to the chain, held by a fabulous brass canopy. It is PHENOMENAL to say the least!!! And it’s hardwired so you can use dimming or flickering lightbulbs and add some wonderful ambiance to whatever room you choose to install. And did we mention… it’s HUGE!! It would make a BOLD statement in a high entry way, stairwell, above an over-scaled island in your kitchen, or over a long dining table in a formal dining area. Wonderful Moorish style Frederick Cooper hammered copper urn or jug shaped double handled lamp with a black coolie shade. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. The exterior of the shade was showing some wear so we have given it a new coat of black matt paint it still may have some small imperfections. It is large scale and comprised of a hand hammered copper urn or jug shaped body, a round black painted wood base, hand forged hammered copper and iron double handles, and a knob shaped brass finial.
