Russian Neoclassical style clear and blue cut glass chandelier Russian, 20th century Measures: Height 156cm, diameter 94cm This superb Russian chandelier exemplifies the grace and elegance of the Russian Neoclassical style. The chandelier features ten S-scroll light branches, each crafted from clear cut glass. The branches issue from a parcel gilt cobalt blue dish, and each branch terminates in a blue glass drip pan and candle holder. The baluster shaped column of the chandelier is set with a further four blue dishes: three above of diminishing size, and one below. The dishes and branches throughout are profusely draped with cut glass pendants, droplets, and chains of facet cut beads.
