Antique and stunning Italian work of lighting art, 1920. If you are passionate about early 20th century decorative art then you will love this one of a kind, opaline glass light fixture. What you are seeing here is a possibly unique pendant, with female figures of the Roman classical antiquity. With early 20th century lighting being one of our specialities, we can tell you that in our decades of dealing in special fixtures, we have never seen this type of fixtures before. This striking pendant is made with the same technique that was used by topmakers like Galle, Daum and Schneider and this light too is an absolute joy to own and look at. Both the fantastic design (in relief) and the marvelous color make this unique light at least as impressive as the Galle and Schneider ones. This wonderful antique fixture is over 100 years old and besides a few minor imperfections it is in excellent condition and when taken care of properly it will remain this way for at least another 100 years. You will not be its next custodian for that long, but we are certain your family will love to take care of and enjoy this antique after you and we are long gone. Mind you, this pendant is professionally rewired to the highest standard for safe and immediate usage in the USA as well and our fair price for this unique antique even includes perfect packing (in a custom made box) and also worldwide delivery from our store to your door in just 4 days.
