About the Item

This floor lamp is made from wicker with a metal stand and parchment tube shade that runs up the middle. It's a decorative light with a handcrafted, natural aesthetic. It has a vase-like silhouette, featuring a rounded, bulbous base that tapers into a tall, cylindrical neck. The weaving is open and geometric, allowing light to pass through. The inner shade - inside the outer woven shell is a second, denser sphere made from thin, intertwined natural fibers or vines. This creates a layered look and adds visual texture. When switched on, a warm light glows from the centre, illuminating the intricate inner weave and casting a soft, ambient light through both layers of the natural material. It has a rustic, bohemian inspired design. Natural shades of brown dominate the lamp, complemented by the warm amber glow of the internal light source. Small round, metal feet at the bottom slightly elevate the lamp, providing stability while maintaining its elegant, sculptural appearance. A great design - decorative and typically Italian. The wicker is in good conditon and the price includes rewiring. The maximum width is 88cm and the maximum depth is 22cm.
