Handcrafted Dutch Brutalist Floor Lamp, 1980s A striking one-of-a-kind Brutalist floor lamp, handcrafted in the Netherlands during the 1980s by an unknown artisan. This sculptural piece is entirely handmade, combining molten brass and molten iron into a dramatic organic composition that perfectly captures the raw, expressive character of the Brutalist movement. The heavily textured surface appears almost volcanic, with flowing layers of metal frozen in time. Every angle reveals new details, making the lamp as much a work of art as it is a functional lighting object. The impressive bowl-shaped shade conceals the light source, creating a beautiful indirect glow that illuminates the interior from within. Thanks to the integrated dimmer, the atmosphere can easily be adjusted from a subtle ambient light to a warm, dramatic statement. A rare and highly decorative Dutch Brutalist design from the 1980s that would complement interiors inspired by Paul Evans, Silas Seandel, and the Studio Craft movement. An exceptional statement piece for collectors of sculptural lighting and late 20th-century design.
