The Lore floor lamp is a sculptural lighting piece crafted from solid Brazilian hardwood and fitted with an authentic vintage traffic light lens dating from the 1950s–1960s. Bridging industrial memory and refined craftsmanship, the design transforms an urban signaling element into a bold architectural object. The circular red glass lens, originally produced for mid-century traffic systems, diffuses light through its textured surface, creating a warm, atmospheric glow. Its scale and chromatic intensity give the piece a strong visual presence, while the minimalist wooden structure introduces balance and elegance. Carved from solid hardwood, the vertical structure highlights material integrity and precise joinery. The contrast between the geometric frame and the luminous circular lens reinforces the dialogue between function and reinterpretation. Handcrafted in Brazil in small batches, the Lore lamp operates as both ambient lighting and statement sculpture, suitable for contemporary interiors, collectible design environments, and curated spaces.
