About the Item

The Pascal 345/L floor lamp, designed by Vico Magistretti for Oluce, is a refined example of geometric purity and functional elegance, reflecting the iconic design language of Magistretti. Alongside landmark projects such as Sonora and Atollo, Pascal expresses a rigorous formal vocabulary based on essential geometric shapes. The design is built around the repetition of the cone, arranged in a carefully balanced composition that combines symbolic clarity with technical functionality. Two inverted cones are positioned at the top of a slender stem, supported by a solid metal base. The upper cone houses the LED source and functions as an upward “luminator”, while the lower cone accommodates two E27 bulbs, transforming its inclined surfaces into reflective elements that direct light downward for ambient and reading purposes. The dual independent switching system allows the two lighting functions to operate separately, reinforcing the versatility of the lamp without compromising its sculptural purity. Design and Materials Structure: Painted metal and aluminium Base: Painted metal Upper cone: Integrated LED module Lower cone: Reflective housing for E27 lamps Materials: Metal and aluminium Finish: Anodic bronze Light emission: Indirect and reflected light Functionality Floor lamp Dual independent lighting system Upward indirect LED light Downward reflected ambient/reading light Separate switching control Suitable for residential and hospitality interiors Details Brand: Oluce Designer: Vico Magistretti Model: Pascal 345/L Year: 1983 Type: Floor lamp Dimensions Diameter: 35 cm (13.8 in) Height: 200 cm (78.7 in) Light Source 2 × max 100W (E27) 1 × max 24W LED 2700K 3300 lm CRI >85 Technical Description Floor lamp in painted aluminium with indirect and reflected light. G.O. 352 Floor Lamp by Giuseppe Ostuni for Oluce

G.O. 352 Floor Lamp by Giuseppe Ostuni for Oluce

By Giuseppe Ostuni, Oluce

Located in Brooklyn, NY

The G.O. lamp is the revival edition of a model designed for Oluce by Giuseppe Ostuni in the 1960s. A lamp that, in the essence of its design, is extremely current, characterised by a vertical shaft from which a horizontal arm branches off and on which the lampshade is mounted. The arm, thanks to the system of joints, is therefore a sliding element that can be repositioned and oriented depending on specific needs. A family which maintains the style of the original design, like the use of the cylindrical lampshade and the contrast between the materials with which the various elements are made. The revival edition is enhanced by precious details in satin gold, which stand out in contrast with the black nickel – of the arm – and the colours of the base and the lampshade, these last two available in three different colours: black, scarlet, and anodic bronze. The use of colour gives energy and a fresh modern look to the original design which was intended for a single tabletop...
