About the Item

Hand-Hammered Sunburst Crown Flush Mount Light Fixture, Gilt Iron, Gold Leaf Spain, 1950s Eye-catching hand-hammered iron sunburst crown ceiling light with frosted glass panel difusser. This ceiling flush mount was handcrafted in Spain at the Mid-Century Modern period in the style of Brutalism. The body of the light fixture is heavily decorated by the hammer marks and it has alternating handcut iron leaves. It has a terrific patina with gold leaf finishing and it provides a good amount of light throught the glass difusser. This stunning leafed ceiling light fixture wil be gorgeous installed in an entry hall or main room. It can be placed as a flush mount or as a pendant chandelier hanging from a chain at the desired height. Newly wired. Rare design.
